AtMail 6.0.11 Released

atmail_logoJust a mere 9 days after releasing 6.0.10, AtMail today announced 6.0.11. While I’m all for a short release cycle, this is almost too short, as it might create a create a too big burden for the sysadmins. For rigorous QA practices, 9 days (7 work days) is barely enough for validating the previous release and deploy it to the production servers.

Yet, the update is not insignificant, and includes quite a few nice improvements, such as better UTF8 support in folders for the webmail.

Webmail
Upgraded the Pear Mail_RFC822 class used for email address list parsing
Added correct Content-Disposition header for IE7/IE8 for exporting an email to disk
Improved folder creation for special characters and UTF-8 for IMAP compatibility
Fixed bug preventing access or thumbnails of message attachments inside message folder that had names with complex i18n and special characters
Improved context search for Address-book and Mail when switching between tabs
Fixed attachment handling in complex i18n and special character mailbox folders
Fixed complex attachment filename handling in the Drafts folder
Improved “Print” view to handle printing a message with multiple pages
Fixed various bugs with saving and editing drafts with i18n attachments and special characters.
Session storage now back in UsersSession.SessionData in DB
Fixed IE7 bug with handling of dynamically added attachment form fields
Fixed IE7 bug/limit on url length 2048 chars, now getattachment and get thumbnail uses shorter urls
Now validates Reply-To field to prevent users typing an invalid email-address in the settings panelFixed Subnet query error in Exim configure for mail-relays
Improved message sort order for Sent view
Improved detection of \Noselect flag on folders via IMAP

Improved the month view render for IE7

API
Fixed domain list returning blank domains
Extended API for Subadmin creation, updates and deletion

Core
Correctly resetting Zend session timeout

Migration
Purges duplicate admin user/groups from migration
Improved command line processing for migrate-a5-config.php script
