Zimbra Collaboration Suite 6.0.2 released

Zimbra LogoZimbra announced yesterday that they’ve released version 6.0.2. The update includes a number of bug fixes. One of the more interesting new features not mentioned in the official forum announcement is the fact that Xen is now officially supported by Zimbra. Keep reading for a summary of the release.

Key Enhancements:
00233 – Ability to remove attachment from received message
14101 – List views should use scroll to enlarge page, rather than pagination
39719 – Need a general, extensive way to store per-user data by javascript
19898 – Calendar emails should be filterable
14952 – admin UI auto new version check & other information
03907 – forward appointments
27958 – blobchk: Add support for ‘repair-mode’ to the zmblobchk tool
10056 – Add unlimited custom fields to Contact

Notable Fixes:
40648 – ldapupgrade fails when upgrading a large number of accounts
40861 – zmstat-allprocs stops running on 6.0 & 41301 – No stats on stats page
41011 – CardDAV: support updating existing contact (beta till 22008 makes it official)
05627 – need better error message when attachment is blocked
35976 – 3-pane view needs to support column sorting
38340 – zimbraFeatureGroupCalendarEnabled should only control schedules/attendees/locations/resources unlink sharing & cal invites
40884 – Do not attach original message when sending out read-receipt
39707 – Need a way to enable DebugHandler in jetty (zimbraHttpDebugHandlerEnabled is on by default)
41462 – can’t view attachments on mobiles – bb , wm, nokia on ZCS 6
40899 – sharing entire mailboxes no longer works in 6.0 (can once again share the root / of a user)
