Atmail 6.1 Released

Atmail LogoAtmail today announced the release of version 6.1. The most significant feature in the release is the Outlook Websync-support which allows you to synchronize your contacts, calendar and task between your local Outlook with Atmail server (using CalDAV).

    Translations

  • New German translation
  • New Dutch translation
  • Webmail

  • Now supporting the IMAP thread “refs” extension – More relevant thread results are returned
  • Added “Thread Limit” setting so user can restrict threads shown depending on how old they are
  • New folder-tree available for IMAP folders – Collapse, expand and create sub-folders with ease
  • Added ‘iPhone’ toggle button in settings to enable/disable features or settings – Improves the user-interface and usability
  • Websync

  • Personal data syncronization support ( Contacts, Calendar, Tasks )
  • Site based download of utility binary
  • Added new help menu for using Websync
  • Admin

  • Added “Login to Account” feature to access a users account as the administrator
  • Added ability to disable a users account via the User manager

    Installer

  • Enhanced installer to check PHP runtime environment ( get_magic_quotes_gpc, php_admin_value declarations, basedir restrictions )
  • Calendar

  • Improved Tasks panel and transitions
  • Ability to move appointments in month view via DND
  • Now supporting the IMAP thread “refs” extension – More relevant thread results are returned

  • Threaded emails are animated on expand/collapse
  • Improved folder manager for mailbox tree and subfolders
  • Improved ajax loading bar for viewing messages and switching mail views
  • Improved message compose panel for usability

  • Addressbook

  • Added support to click a users email address, and automatically popup a compose tab to email the user
  • Added Sync button on toolbar, which opens the Outlook Sync help guide

  • Session management re-factored for the Webmail and Admin interface

  • Fixed position of Sync help button under ie7
  • Fixed update error when sql strict enabled
  • Fixed new entry error when sql strict enabled
  • Fixed newline filter on vcf import
  • Webmail

  • Fixed bug with auto-creating folders for user created by 3rd party (e.g. Plesk) method
  • Fixed bug with some special chars not being encoded same as urlencode causing selector references to become corrupted
  • Fixed new bug with correlation between generated filenames for unknown files (e.g. CIDs with no specified filename)
  • Added workaround for iconv_mime_decode_headers() producing illegal decoded addresses
  • Fixed various issues causing message view and Threading to be faulty
  • Fixed HTML Entities in subject line in various places in UI
  • Calendar

  • Fixed new/modify/delete buttons being available on month view
  • Fixed incorrect width for user emails in modify permissions pane
  • Installer Now correctly finds apache2 under debian systems
  • Fixed CSS positions for IE7 and JS issues
  • Fixed JS error where day view attempted aligned its view before data available
  • Update input box for tasks and calendar names to be consistant with UI

  • On user logout now sets SessionID to 0 to support mysql strict mode
  • Fixed session timeout for Webmail/Admin logins
  • Fixed search and mail tab position if calendar is disabled
  • Fixed sql schema to be more compatible with strict mode

  • Fixed bug in API where Password was not being parsed correctly
  • Fixed blank error on duplicate subadmin create
  • Improved session destroy functions for Webmail/Admin logout actions
  • Improved Webadmin JS for IE7
