threadsy_logoMy personal favorite when it comes to personal communication aggregation, threadsy, today announced support for Apple’s Mobile Me and Google Chrome for Mac (the web browser) as well as a few behind-the-scenes updates.

While adding Mobile Me support might not be very significant, as it uses regular IMAP. My guess is that the update simply maps email addresses ending with me.com/mac.com to the IMAP server mail.me.com

Personally, I’m more excited about the behind-the-scenes updates, as they increase have increased the performance and robustness of the back-end. Unfortunately no in-depth details on these updates are available.

The announcement also outlines some of the future the threadsy team are currently working on for the next release. Among these features we can find better Facebook connection stability (this something they really need to resolve, as I got signed out several time from Facebook when I used threadsy last time), Twitter search and email folder support.

If you haven’t tried threadsy already, I strongly recommend that you take a look at it.
