AtMail just posted two announcement on their blog. The first one is the release of AtMail version 6.1.2. The two most exciting changes in this release is the introduction of Subadmin dashboard, which allows users to get an overview of their account, as well as improved integration with ArchiveVault.

The second announcement was about ArchiveVault 1.3. However, details are few in the announcement. The only thing it states is that it includes ‘a user-interface overhaul, new Admin options, improved Lucene search index for data-mining, new API feature and integration with Atmail 6‘

Here’s the full changelog for AtMail 6.1.2:

New Features

  • New Exchange migration scripts for IMAP based calendar data
  • New Subadmin disk-space quota support. Specify how much storage a Subadmin user can allocate to users
  • New Subadmin dashboard – Users can login and see their account profile at a glance, user quota, disk space quota, account details and activity via inline graphs
  • New ArchiveVault integration – Subadmin level support, delegate control of a select domain to a Subadmin user with ArchiveVault permissions to view/search inbound & outbound messages for the domain

Improvements

  • Upgraded ClamAV version
  • Calendar – New and modified events are given an alarm 30mins before due, allowing event notification on an iPhone or desktop client
  • Calendar Server – UserStatus is now cached in the authentication table, heavily reducing sql load and increasing performance dramatically
  • Calendar Server – Removed PyKerberos requirement
  • Improved MIME and attachment handling
  • BETA FreeBSD 7.X Support

Issues Fixed

  • Fixed logo branding URL
